Stockton Lapidary and Mineral Club, founded in 1936, is a non-profit organization. Our purpose and objective is the advancement of the Earth Sciences by learning and sharing with our membership and by actively promoting the Earth Sciences in our community.

Stockton Lapidary holds its annual "Earth's Treasures" Jewelry, Gem & Mineral Show on the last weekend in September at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center  in Stockton, CA.  Our next show will be September 29 - 30, 2012.

  Meetings are held at SLMC's club house located at 3136 East Anita Street, Stockton, CA. The public is always welcome to visit.

Unless otherwise announced, Stockton Lapidary and Mineral Club holds regular meetings, which include educational programs.  See Meetings for additional information about schedules and membership.
The club provides training and education in lapidary arts, beading and silversmithing techniques and ongoing lapidary workshops.  See Classes.
The club publishes a bulletin, Rock Chips, which includes announcements of field trips, area shows and other events.
Members visit schools and other venues by invitation, demonstrating rocks and minerals, their history and their uses in our lives today. See Earth Sciences.

Stockton Lapidary and Mineral Club holds its Annual Gem Show on the 4th weekend of September. The club also hosts a booth at the Valley Springs Pow Wow each year. The Pow Wow is now held on Labor Day Weekend.
